Biography
Robi is a singer, multi-musician, songwriter, and producer from Gresham, Oregon. Her music is a direct reflection of her personal life experiences in juggling relationships, mental illness, and trauma. She is so excited to finish her undergraduate degree in Music Industry and Liberal Arts at George Fox University. In fall 2023, she had the privilege of studying music production and songwriting at the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville. “It was one of the most life changing experiences to be able to grow, write, tour, and collaborate with my friends,” Robi says, “I have never grown more in my life!” After graduation she hopes to go into studio management, where she can run her own studio, write, and produce for others. She also eventually wants to continue her education path in teaching, so she can teach music production at the collegiate level.
This February she is releasing her first single “Imperfect Frame” where she pulled inspiration from Maddie’s Zahms, Fletcher, and Catie Turner. Her sound consists of a mixture of indie pop, electronic, with layered vocal, and acoustic tones on top. Her lyrics can be described as a real reflection of her life at 3am. “I was taught to tell stories at a young age,” she says, “now I love being able to do exactly that through my music!”
In the last year she has performed all across the US from Portland to Nashville. Exceptional performances including The Willamette Lavender festival and special musical guest on The Velodromes Kickstands Comedy’s Show in 2023.
